As you drive under the archway into the massive parking lot of the Charles Town Races and Slots you are entering a “Vegas” environment in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains.   “Wild and Wonderful” is the motto for the State of West Virginia. We feel the show will offer something for everyone.  The Track offers the thrill of live thoroughbred racing and is home to the West Virginia Breeders Classic.  The Inn at Charles Town located on the ground of Charles Town Races and Slots serves as the perfect oasis, offering first class amenities and rich interior located footsteps from exciting slot action and thoroughbred racing.  A couple getting married at Charles Town Races and Slots can have a Horse Race named for them with pictures being taken in the Winners Circle.   Their guests can also enjoy a Night at the Races prior to their wedding day with nine dining establishments on the property from casual to the formal Skyline Terrace. 

 At the Silver Suitcase Tea, Shawn Reiser, a wardrobe sylist will discuss "Finding Your Inner Beauty". Potomac Bridals of Hagerstown will be featuring gowns that illustrate how to make the most of our body shape, seasonal color palette and personal style.  Attendees will use a questionnaire to take home with them to help determine their personal best bridal looks.

Lori Swadley of Swadley Studio will discuss "The Newest Medias to Capture a Great Photo Experience - Engagement or Wedding."  The tea is by invitation only so please register below.  While watching the latest in fashions for Guys and Gals, hear about a Wedding or Honeymoon at one of the Sandals Resorts by Alpha Voyages. We will also discuss other major wedding style trends for this year. .

Driving Directions

The Charles Town Races and Slots is in Charles Town, West Virginia off of Route 340 easily accessible to Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.  The Track offers a beautiful Skyline Ballroom overlooking Horse Racing Track or the Shenandoah Ballroom with Private Patio at the Inn at Charles Town.

Three other Wedding Destinations are the Bavarian Inn overlooking the Potomac is in the German Village of Shepherdstown.  Bavarian Inn's Wine Spectator Best of Award Winning Wine List will please any palette. The Blue Ridge Bridal Boutique Show will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Charles Town Races and Slots and the Inn at Charles Town in Charles Town, West Virginia.  The site is ideal for attracting clients from all three states.  This will be our first show addressing the metropolitan areas of Frederick, Montgomery County, and Baltimore as well as Winchester, Loudoun County and Washington DC.  Because of the wedding destination locations in Jefferson County, brides have many wonderful options.
